Eastern Kentucky University offers four distinct degree programs in the areas of fire and safety. All of these programs provide you with a broad-based understanding of fire science while allowing you to pick the area of specialization that fits your interests and career goals.

Academic Common Market
Eastern Kentucky University participates in the Academic Common Market. Students may be eligible for in-state tuition fees if they are a resident of a state that participates in this program. Program Requirements and Prerequisites
A grade of "C" or higher must be earned in each FSE course for credit toward an associate or baccalaureate degree in the Fire and Safety degree programs. Students are urged to review carefully all course and program prerequisites before scheduling courses. Failure to do so may result in mandatory withdrawal from the course.
